Shared Pasts // Hackett and Galey

With a woman like Galey, you had to be careful. You needed to know who she was before dealing with her, and what she knew. Needed to know had to save your skin if she ever tried to start killing you.

The file lay on his desk in front of him. And he stared at it in a mixture of thoughtfulness and sadness. The operative had had a hard life, and he didn’t envy her for it. God knew his own life had been hard, but hers… All that training, and now… He sighed and ran a finger over the scar on his cheek. What had she gone through?

Hackett could almost picture her now, training from day to night, trying to perfect her skills. Cerberus was a tough crowd and if you weren’t perfect you didn’t last long, he knew that. Her father had been a Cerberus agent which meat perfection would have been shoved onto her right form the get go…

Sighing he brought his omni-tool to life. He needed to talk to her about this in person. That was the only way he’d get a straight answer, and the only way he’d ever get her files off his mind.

[MSG; M. Galey] Galey. Dinner my place?
[MSG; M. Galey] I recently bought a new wine I think you’d like.
